The band WAS (RIP) guitarist George Barker, bassist Ray Lehner, Mike Gelbke on drums, Joel Pirard keys. Later Scott Pittman, (RIP) Bass.
JOEL PIRARD: I was in a band named ORION that broke up in 1981. George Barker was in a band called Topeka that broke up around the same time. We formed TOMBSTONE. I have adapted the stuff we wrote together and 2 he wrote in a TOPEKA and completed all the songs in a home studio. Some are simple, some are a bit more intense. Many speak to simple love and broken hearts. . So with your kind indulgence, here are songs I was able to re-record from a terrible source tape. In some cases I had to rewrite lyrics from his buried vocals! Warts and all this is ALL ME.

Lyrics
Rough Edges Words and music by Joel Pirard and George Barker Before you leave and you walk out that door Theres s few things that Ive got to say I really loved you and thats no lie Its no crime and it ain't no shame If you wanna leave me Better say youre ready Theres a few things that you really ought to know Its a big city and it would be a pity For you to learn that that you have to crawl before you walk What would you have to say to me? When you see the hard way, that its hard to be free? I know your mind is made up And you need to go now Just remember that its so hard to show Time to get ready time to be steady Just remember that you reap what you sow Life is a knife edge, take it from me One way or another, it will be what it will be Live on your rough edge, and you will see Its so twisted and hard to be free..
